I have a ducati panigale v4s 2020 and my old battery was dead so I completely took it off when i winterized my bike and its been sitting without the battery for 4/5 months.
Right now I installed a new battery and its fully charged. When I tried to start the bike you can hear the usual sound for starting but the Display is completely black its not turning on and also the bike is now cranking or trying to start. I checked the battery connections they were good. Daylights are on as well when u turn on the ignition, so there is a electricity running thru the bike. Someone has the same problem or now whats wrong ?

check all fuses or maybe a mouse got into your wiring during winter season. but the dash not coming on sounds very bad, i know you dont want to ear that..
other than that make sure your new battery is fully charged, check fuses, then start looking for wire damage. little critters love wiring,
let us know what you find

its very possible that the if all the fuel was not removed from the tank and it had just a little bit of fuel in it....alot moisture can collet and run to the bottom of the tank, and maybe cause the fuel pump to seize from corrosion..but thats a big maybe..
when the op stated he could hear the usual sounds i assume that meant the pump is coming on.

the fuel pump turns on when u turn the ignition on

Make sure you reconnected all the connections at the battery. Not sure about your bike but often there is more than one loop for the positive and negative terminal.

possible that corrosion has caused a lack of contact somewhere. be sure that the battery is fully charged.. if the system does not have adequate voltage weird things start to happen..

everything is good connected

Wish it was the fix. I took my bike off for winter and your problems were similar to mine when I re-installed the battery. I did go through and tested every fuse. All kinds of things were going through my head - worse of which was a faulty ECU, or mice got into the wiring harness. Hope you get it sorted.

Did u find out what was the problem ? I have an appointment at ducati's dealership next week

ok so if your pump is working when you key on..lets use process of elimination

next to your battery you have
30A fuse ..check that one..yours may not have the 30A relay, mines a 2019 and doesnt have it
ign relay
Fpump relay
ems load relay or main load relay

maybe your ecu/ems main relay is bad..
so swap the F pump relay with the ems/main load relay
see if the dash lights up and the fuel pump does not prime.
if this happens then ems/main load relay is either dead or seized..your could try tapping on it with the handle of a screwdriver to unstick it
relays will stick when left unused for a while
easy test and of it works saves you a trip to the dealer
