Hello, needing some help if you can! I realize I should have done more research. So I have the full akra undertail exhaust installed on my 1299s, previously I had the CNC rear sets on there but I also had to make spacers for them to fit and they were still rubbing. I decided to go the DP route after seeing this video on YouTube and another guys bike that I follow on Instagram. But I went to go install the right side today and it’s not fitting up at all. Even if the carbon heel guard doesn’t bolt up to the shield and just would sit over it, the brake push rod is rubbing a won’t engage cause of the shield. I’m wondering if anyone on here has had the same setup before and can possibly help. I will post pictures of the ones I’ve seen installed vs trying to fit them on my bike. The last picture I tried putting some washers on the backside to space it out a little bit but the brake is still rubbing on the heat shield. Also here is the links to the YouTube videos I saw.

I have the same setup - (with the Cnc rearsets) on my 1299. Ended up making my own little bracket to save rattling and space the carbon heat shield + connect to the heel guard. Painted it black and it disappears behind the carbon now.

Second pic you can see it on the far right of the picture

*Edit - I have also seen people with exactly your setup (dp rearsets) who have dremelled the lower part off the heat shield that is rubbing. They were track bikes tho so maybe not ideal if this is just for road.
