I am in the process of changing out the rear sets and what to see everyones opinions on the DP product. Thanks

I love'm. Got them barely used, if anything they're over-engineered but not over-styled like others. Have a works look, functional.

I actually agree with all previous comments. I have them in a box in the garage to install. I chose them because I'm trying to stick with all DP stuff. But, they are overpriced and seemingly less adjustable than others.

I have the DP rear sets and I think they are the best available for looks and performance, you get what you pay for.

I have them and I love them.. Its the best option on my Panigale...
They are worth the money...

For quality you have to pay...

I hope I helped you...

I like them, very grippy. I might have considered some of the aftermarket but wanted Ducati branded. Might try some others in time but want to put a few more Km on them!

The DP are good product whether they are the best is subjective but the one thing we can agree on is that being Ducati branded you have to pay a little more.

A good alternative are the LighTech which are also great (along with the fact Checa and Bayliss use them).

Finally I am a big fan of the Austin racing product but i have yet to try them but i think they look the best and seem to be impeccably constructed.

I went with the DPs to avoid the longer wait for after market makes to hit the streets.. But only beat Rizoma's offering by a month :(.
However, as the DPs took so long to reach market, my dealer gave me $300 off when I did receive them in August.

I must say, I do like the DPs. Very good quality though a little fiddly to install. Well worth the extra dosh for the looks and engineering involved as well, DP adds a few $'s to resale and main dealer trade in value for the bike.

If you ever wanted to try race shift pattern, they are the only rear sets on the market now (that I know of) that can achieve this with stock QuickShifter rod. With others you would have to buy the DP Reverse QS rod as well which balances the $ difference.

I believe you would still need the reverse dqs for that to work. Ducabike also works with reverse shift or regular and is 10 times more adjustable. Dp is a nice quality set though

Thats what I thought also but we got the DP rearsets to work GP style with stock QS by using the specific linkage that reverses the action of the shifter. I guarantee this.

I really like the shifting feel and the overall riding feel of these pegs alot. I am not normally a pricey rearset guy but these are worth every penny.

DP are arguably the best looking and def the most expensive.

My only concern with them is their slight lack of height adjustments, meaning they could make the riding position a little cramped.

So I've realized that one of the things that makes this bike uncomfortable for me to ride, is the rearset position. I found this out because I got to actually sit on ttkarp's bike with the DP rearsets on it (we're about the same size) and it was a perfect fit.

The downside really is the cost, I'd like to spend less money on a different set, but my worry is not being able to get that same perfect position that the DP rearsets offer.

I've noticed a lot of websites with other rearsets for sale will often list the potential offsets for the bracket (eg. backwards 0-2", up 0-1"). Does anyone know what the adjustment range is for the DP rearsets? Perhaps if I knew this, it would be easier to pick a less expensive option.

Better options for less money.

Not necessarily.

As far as I know the DP rearsets are the only ones that allow for GP or normal shift that work with the DQS in our bikes. If you don't have DQS then no it's not worth it. I also like that they can be set to a solid or fold up setting. I have them and they are worth it to me. Yeah they are more expensive, but they are also more flexible than others. I considered the lightechs (sp) like everyone here recommends but I'm not going to buy rearsets that don't let me switch settings back and forth.

I'm 6' tall with long legs. On the standard seat the dp's are too tall for me. With the race seat they are just right.

I've switched back and forth from standard to GP depending on the track I'm at and the only thing needed is a special bracket included in the rearsets themselves. Nothing additional required.

the DP rear sets have 2 settings....High and Low - that's all you get - i haven't measured the difference from High to Low...however, i have a 32" inseam and the Low setting works best for me street riding, and i would say it is borderline tight fitting......

Do you know where they sit relative to the stock rearsets? I thought they were higher and more foward? I could be mistaken.

Definitely higher. It feels more natural in a lean and I don't scrape my boot anymore.
