Hello,

While riding I changed from 2 to 3 gear, changed without using a clutch.
Then the bike didn't respond to acceleration, it's like I press clutch all the time..
I stop the bike and tried to change the gear to 1 and release the clutch and nothing happened.
when I change the gear to N it sounds like N and when I change to 1 gear it's like the sound of the engine changed but it doesn't move.
I tried to drag the bike after releasing the clutch and it moves in 1 gear like it's N.
The bike acts like it's in clutch the whole time..

you can see the attachment video here:

Does anybody have this problem??

I don't think this is the case.
The N is between 1 and 2 regularly, just when I release the clutch the bike doesn't move.
Like the clutch is "pressed" even I release the clutch hand.

Are those the stock or aftermarket levers?

If aftermarket, the pin may be adjusted too far out, holding pressure on the clutch master, causing the clutch to marginally slip and finally burned up the clutch.

oops looks painful lol, in my case the rear sprocket still good but anyway I will replace it too with the chain and the front sprocket.
By the way how often did you guys replace the chain? mile/KM?

It's also weird to loose chain while driving I'm glad it's cause any harm to the bike.

Chains last a very long time provided you care for it. I don’t bother replacing unless I see signs of damage, corrosion, or it keeps stretching. I’ve got 5,000 miles and 17 track days on my V4 chain and have not had to adjust the chain yet. I clean and lube it very often

....don't feel bad....i stopped for gas, removed the key to open the gas cap....while filling the tank...there were noises that sounded just slightly out of place.....then i realized the engine was still running

1994 916...not the v4 ;)
