Ducati v4 stock stylema caliper.

are the stylema caliper piston retract all the way back to the caliper housing when you push it? I was cleaning my caliper but when I pushed the pistons it only goes back halfway.

is the cap still on your reservoir? yes it should almost push flush with the housing...although you dont need to push it that far to put new pads in...

dont spill the fluid on your paint buddy...

Yes my reservoir is open. I’m trying to figure out if it’s normal for the stylema not to retract all the way.

Maybe a caliper piston is askew which could cause it to bind?
