So who would buy a full six complete fairing set with a tank for $3G and the very next day on the very same forum, attempt to sell the tank for $2400 after peeling off the knee pads?

Pretty sure the tank you’re selling is not the factory red either so it won’t match OEM Ducati plastics but hey, what do I know??
 
Maybe the price includes a voucher for a tank of race fuel but good-night, $2400.

I’ll check back tomorrow and see if he changes the price to $1000-1200 since a buyer will have to pay to have it repainted Ducati red.

Trust me I’m definitely the alpha here. Y’all dipshits are a joke. Bunch of dudes that have no skill and no brains just a wallet full of cash you usurped from your banks
 
A guy with a shop full of parts was liquidating some .... fir a cross country move, he had the parts posted here for awhile, I was in the right place at the right time on the day he was moving and local to him, I got a $4600 set of fairings and a brand new never used tank that cost $4060….I paid $3000 for the lot, offered to buy just the fairings but he wanted rid if the stuff and sold it as a set.

Drove directly from there to the shop to drop off the bike, showed him the stuff, had no idea how much the tank was worth, he said it was worth $5k….looked it up, it $4060 new, on Fleabay you can buy damaged ones that have been in crashes for $1600 to $2000.

As this one is brand new, never been installed or had a drop of gas in it, I think $2400 is very fair.

If someone posts a link for an undamaged un-repaired one for less I’ll match the price.

If not, I’m fine keeping it as a spare. Or, if I keep the fairings the same color maybe I’ll use it. I’m fine either way.
