as many of you know i am a big fan of the dunlop q2 and now even though i havnt ridden them the q3. ive been trying to get information from dunlop (the horses mouth) about a 200/55 q3. i was on their website and noticed another tire. the dunlop d212 gp pro. seems similar to the pirelli. it has 5 different compounds. they are available in 200/55 tire size.
does anyone know about these?

Thanks for the heads up on new options. Maybe Ill go with these when my front wears out. NTECs have quite a good reputation.

Holy Crap!!!:eek::eek::eek:

Did anyone inform Pirelli that there was gonna be another 200/55???

FINALLY an option... can't wait to hear some reviews.:)

Don't the 211gp come in a 200/55?

As I understood it, Pirelli was the only 200/55. In race compound and the stock tire. I know many have put the 211s on the Pani, but in a different size, 190/55 I thought.

The d211 GP and 211 GPA is essentially the same size. So 200/55 UK is same as 190/60.

The D211/212 is a great track day tire that can be used on the street as well (with limits). It doesn't run well in water, etc. ..

Between the two, I definitely prefer the 211/212 GPA - especially over the Q2/Q3. I still prefer the SC2's from Pirelli though. That being said, the Q2/Q3 is definitely cheaper than the 211 and SC2's.
