Nice gains in most gears, i messed up the threads on my narrow band to wide band adaptor so i couldnt get good air fuel readings, i will do a pull with air fuel next week so you guys can see where it is at. I also wont get a chance to take it for a street ride till this weekend to report back how it behaves. It has been a border line tropical rain forest here the last couple weeks. These runs were all done today around 2 hours from start to finish so I am confident in the data.

I will be testing the arrow slip ons with this upmap and the db killer removed up map in a few weeks after i get to properly test this set up.

Still waiting on woolich to make the V4 available to be able to do some real tuning, until then this is nice to have some real data


 
Wow pretty cool. Will wait for air fuel results for stock exhaust.

got my adapter ahead of schedule and was able to get a run in with an air fuel, looks pretty damn good for something designed for a different set up. Proves once again that header design is the major dictator of flow and fueling needs. I also got a best result so far of 203 hp. Im sure the bike not being heat soaked from 2 hours of dyno testing had something to do with it.

I also took it for about a 20 mile ride. The bike feels overall smoother with improved throttle response. My bike used to pick up some vibrations when cruising over 70 mph, its much smoother now. I can 100% recommend this set up for a stock V4

I had the t800 upmap on my monster and honestly i wish i would of done more with tuning. And brentuning also showed these same results when they ran the t800 vs the akra map. For 315 dollars i don’t find it to be a good value on these bikes in particular because they want you to pull the O2 sensors and that limits a lot of things. Personally i wished termi would of just de restricted the bike, turned off the exhaust valve and fixed the afr. And for the most part that what they did but honestly i find it to be lackluster

you do not have to pull the o2 sensors, as I said , i made no mechanical changes to the bike except the air filter.

The o2 sensors are disabled as in any good tune. The o2 sensors on our bikes are narrow band. They are just for emissions control. They do not help the bike run better but they insure the bike is to lean for great throttle response. The stock o2 sensors are only on at light throttle and lower rpm. They do nothing at wide open throttle

has light throttle and lower rpm usage suffered since using the t800?

no, its improved

i can comment now since me and bill are the first guy running the upmap on the streetfighters. I have an arrow system without dB killers. The bike was a .... show with the stock tune, it rode fine but cold starts and idling was terrible. I went with the performance map, my god night and day difference. And i might even try the new mtorque tune, if it runs really good i might not go with brentuning.
 
What tune would you recommend for someone running a full Akrapovic system?

If you go to the dealer and they hook up the bike, do you have to reflash it? If so, once you flash the bike with the T800 are subsequent flashes of the same map free?


do you have a regular v4 or a street fighter v4?


yes the first map is free and it can flash the same bike with the same file are free so if the dealer over wrote it you could reapply the flash
 
I received my UpMap from vcyclenut and it installed easily. Only one hangup with the updating of the UpMap device, but it cleared.

I have the stock exhaust and I mapped it for the Arrow with DB killer as described on this thread. I've only ridden a bit today, and I can already tell that the throttle feels "smoother." Not sure how else to describe it!

just wanted to clarify this, for best part throttle running I did have to unplug the o2 sensors. Even though they are disabled with the upmap their signal was for sure affecting how the bike ran at part throttle. Sorry for the late edit on this I missed that it when looking over things
 
Could you describe what you mean? What are you experiencing at part throttle?

I didn't touch my O2 sensors and there are a few things that I'm noticing. It may be my imagination, but:
1. around 4000-5000 RPMS, it feels a bit sluggish
2. at exactly 6K, 7K, 8K it almost seems like it jumps a bit in power delivery. It is slight but enough to notice that I started watching when the RPM's hit a designated number, and it seemed to be consistent.
3. Probably my imagination, but the exhaust sounds louder.
