ECU Flash Secret?? Mine Failed

I attempted a flash today via a handheld which failed and I cant get it back to stock. In case I missed something on my end, is there anything else to it other than plug into the port to do it??

Bren, appears to be a communication error along the way. Was just curious if perhaps I needed to do something else other than plug and play with the handheld, as well as setting the battery charger up too.

Try removing the BBS (Black Box System) fuse and try to flash again...When I tried to flash SFV4 with handheld, it crapped out. Problem was BBS was interfering with he changes. After I removed the fuse, the flash went smooth, then I replaced fuse...alls was good.

Bingo, that did the trick! Got it reverted to stock and then flashed the modified file. Thank you so much, total newb move on my part

Good info! I've not had any problems flashing my bike (Up-Map and SLR). But will remember this if ever there's a problem.
