Errr not so sure about this. The LC8 engine is old (2006) and used in a bunch of different machines. If you watch the development videos on the 990 RC R, it's heavy on the Kiska design process and light on the technical/engineering innovations and improvements. Again, this is another marketing exercise. KTM is taking a page from Ducati in this respect.
