Thought I should make a proper post as the 1199 threads are confusing.
Going to be fun to register the Ducati today. Engine number is located on the bottom of the front horizontal cylinder. You have to lie down flat and use a screw driver to hold a hose out of the way to see it. Ohh and it is fully visible only if you take a picture with phone stuck inside the fairing air gap.
Damn why do the Italians make it so difficult? Aprilia was similar if a bit less painful.
