As the title suggests, I'm looking for tire warmer recommendations. 120V, north American plug style. Something that can be driven on a 1800 watt generator if needed.

Woodcraft are really good and not costing ton of money, if you want to spend more Chicken hawk racing.

Sportbike Track Gear sells their owned branded single temp warmers made by Chickenhawk.

I run Capit warmers. I think they are the best.

Woodcraft warmers are decent. Chickenhawk’s or Capit’s are probably the best brands out there.

No love for Thermal Technology? Chickenhawk are not something I have seen over here, although I understand the OP is over there and I have seen them mentioned… 🫣🤣

Over here I reckon Capit and Thermal Technology are highly regarded and I think Thermal Technology were the first to do the ones that heat the rim as well, but I could be wrong… They are the first I was aware of anyway.

They might be decent but it’s my impression you won’t find either in the MotoGP, WSBK, or F1 paddocks.

You will find Thermal Technology and KLS though.

All of the racers in the Canadian national championship, a few AMA and BSB racers use these:

An older national level racer started his own company back in the 1990’s because he couldn’t buy warmers that he thought were any good so he started making his own.

He is very active in many aspects of the racing scene up here and makes a pretty good product, plus he is a super nice guy

Can you get TT with 120V plugs?

They are sold in the US so I’d assume they would be supplied with 120V plugs.

They are the only ones I’ve used but they seemed to be very well made and I’d certainly buy them again. I went for the Tri-Zone after some research and a few glasses of wine while on the internet…

Try and always rotate the wheel by hand on top of the warmer to remove it rather than rotate the wheel by pulling the warmer off. Will help keep the elements in good condition. Lay them flat or draped over a chair when they're removed too. See most people with failed cheaper warmers treat them like ...... Same as anything I guess.

Got the Thermal Tech (US 120v plug) and on my second season with them. Replaced 5y top line Chicken Hawk warmers and I felt the overall heat in the tire on 90c was significantly more consistent than the Chicken Hawk. Not sure if that was due to age or not. The TTs are slightly less durable, mainly due to me manhandling them and pulling on the side fabric when removing. With a bit more care I am sure they would be fine so shame on me.

Chicken Hawk is right down the street from me and my kid is friends with the owner’s son, good dude that stands behind his products and has serviced my older models. Bought the TT just to try something new.
