Is this error reset it will work?Potentially gear position sensor has failed.
Do you know how to clear the errors?
Let the bike cool down. Then start it and let it run until the fans kick in. Turn the bike off, and wait until the fans stop. Repeat three times. The errors should clear. Take the bike for a ride, if the whole dash lights up with errors again, after 3-10mins riding, likely to be the gear position sensor.
It was replaced under recall, and some ducting added to the bike.
i check speed sensors and looks ok, and abs work fine, but the errors stay on dash all timeNo one is going to be able to help with so little explanation. Were you attempting any mods/repairs? When did the messages start, what was going on at the time etc etc.
i disconnect battery and the errors stay all time , do you know a reset form? That doesn’t look like fun - I’d disconnect the battery and reconnect then hope for the best - after that it’s off to the dealer - hopefully it will be a simply reset
i check with snapon but i need ducati software, code p0270 already fixed , the guy at the shop thinks that the bike has a race map, and they disabled the aids, I bought the bike like that.Do you have a OBD code reader?
thanks for the info, when I bought the bike it already had that fault, I already checked the connectors you mentioned, and the speed sensor with a multimeter, all the sensors are fine,On my 21 Pani V4S, with my OBDStar Ducati device I could see CANBus errors from the ABS controller. After I unplugged and plugged it back in, they went away.
Modern vehicle electronics are not as simple as a +12v and a ground. CANBus wiring is closer to a computer network that supplies voltage and data from the ECU to other micro controllers around the bike. For example, when you squeeze the brake lever, a signal goes from the lever to the ECU to tell the ECU to turn on the brake light.
After I installed a full Akra system on my Streetfighter V4, I had errors similar to what you pictured. What I found is that the BBS connector was not fully seated.
I suggest you unplug and reseat all of the major connectors. ECU, ABS, BBS and Ohlins ECU if you have it. It seems basic, but its an easy and low cost fix.
The bigger question is what was going on before the error? Was something being repaired or installed? Did you buy it like that?
