@ Karrl, I lived 6 years in Vilseck, Freihung Germany (Souther Bavaria), really missed those days
thats 130 miles away from where i live. (between stuttgart and munich)
and i miss the good time having with my friends stationed in augsburg.
but thats a long time ago.

It's not your normal Carbon as most of you know it, in case it matters , it's a Carbon Ceramic Composite made by MS-Production Slovenia, not even close to what most of you consider " Carbon Fiber Heat Guard".
It's a great heat insulator and it's a great piece if that's what you are looking for.
Forget about anybody ever making some real carbon fiber sleeves for it, way to hot down there for normal carbon fiber.
They also make the upper heat guard for the loop and yes it works.
