Anyone have a picture of right hand side exhaust hanger near flapper. Need to see what damage the collar has done to the mount / to what extent.

Not sure, but I helicoiled the motor where the subframe bolts on a couple of years ago and it's fine. Is it spriped right out? Can you just run a dye through it to clan it up?

Can you not just get a longer bolt and put a nut on the back?
You will have to drill it oversize for an insert anyway so clearance fit and nyloc
nut may be just as easy.

I have thought of that but would want a professional repair done, would have been nicer if I hadn't bothered with the torque wrench.

My right hand lug sheared in half mid summer. I have the termi underseat which puts all
the system weight on the one support. I ran stud bar across to the left lug and then
had to use nuts on that to clamp the bar around the remaining right lug stump.
It has held fine but is bugging me. Will hopefully get it welded up and cut new threads over
the winter.
If you get any info on material/weldability, would be grateful if you drop it in this thread.
Will do the same if i get there first.

Does anyone have the max diameter of the face of the mount, heavy duty lokserts need the hole drilled out to 12.8mm will this work?

(obviously I cant readily access my bike to measure)

Will measure this afternoon, but I doubt that there is enough metal there for
that on the outer edge. It will be weakened too much.

I can just squeeze a vernier caliper in and its approx 15mm external dia.
No way you will have any load bearing strength after taking it out to 12.8.
Better going clearance on the 8mm bolt.

Ok thank you for the time to measure.

Looks like the only other option is heli coil as they do make a thin loksert but its still drill out to 10.8 and tap a thread to 12mm.
