Last year I paid 1k for a set of perfectly good R wheels (all black) here on the forum and I sold a set of S wheels (red pin stripe line) for the same both of course are the forge wheels. So I think 1K is a great starting point.

The only difference is the red pin-stripe on the S wheels.

I sold my 1299S wheels for $1200 when I switched to BST’s. I felt like it was a fair price for both parties.

Not silly at all. They are the same other than the red stripe. Now the V4 rear wheel and the V2 wheel look the same but they are different as far as dimensions of the hub area near the spokes. The offset I would bet is the same though.
