hello folks,
I'm new to the forum. I just purchased a 1299 S and I'm wondering if a fender eliminator from the 1199 will fit. It will increase my options. Also I see many of the carbon bits are interchangeable. Is this correct?

It depends on the fender eliminator, but many do not fit the 1299. The tail section is one of the things that changed cosmetically from the 1199 so there ARE some differences. A popular one is the NRC unit (I'm not a huge fan but it's satisfactory, and most people like it).

Most carbon bits are interchangeable, I believe, but not all. I'm not the carbon nut around here, I'll leave that one for those guys:)
