Apparently the HP4 traction control system is new or different. It certainly worked well yesterday although I wasn't stressing it

I don't like the wheelie control though. It's not like it cuts in when the bike reaches a certain angle, it still lifts the wheel in some situations, its like if it 'thinks' you've grabbed a handful too much it cuts in almost straight away.

I picked up an HP4 Competition recently and the TC is worlds better than my '10 s1k's. They fixed the steering rake issue from the '10 as well (from '12 on) so handling is much better as is braking. The launch control is mediocre and the DDC is very good out of the box but will need to be replaced if I decide to race it the remainder of the season.

All in all, the bike is fantastic.

Next track day, Aug 24th, I'll be on the Panigale again. Despite its woes yesterday its the bike that mastering will make me a better rider. The HP4 will be a more occasional track weapon and daily ride.

I also have the AR exhaust. I live in Norway. I'm about to flash the ECU with the TuneBoy AR tune. I would very much appreciate to receive "your" TuneBoy map too should you ever make it available!

I am very happy with the exhaust - and the sound is amazing
