Welcome to the forum! I've had my'12 base since November and learned a lot from the folks on here. Some good ribbing but all good.

Damn!! Not much that overshadows the Panigale (love the white btw) but that R8 will surely do it. Work of Art!. Should grabbed that in white with the carbon panels. Still both are beautiful and good luck and Congrats!!!

+1, drool...

Very nice...although it's white we'll let this one slide because you have an awesome car to counter that. :D

Congratulations! I see that you already have it prepped for paint. What color are you going with?

First off, welcome! Second, that's a nice pair you have there. Lastly and off topic, the wife and I have toyed with relocating to Maui. Unfortunately, the only Duc dealer is in Honolulu. How do you guys get your bikes between islands (cost) and how is the riding in Hawaii? We've been to Maui a few times and i could see myself getting board with the roads or lack thereof.

They use to have a inter-island super ferry but it was stopped after ex Gov. Lingle was found to have "fast-tracked" *cough* the environmental impact study.

Try using this link I can't get it to work for me (Firefox?)

Domestic and International Overseas Car Shipping and Global auto transport services from ShipMyVehicle.com : Car, Motorcycle, Automobile and Vehicle Shipping overseas to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Get quotes, cost and rates for shipping a car.

Riding on Oahu is crazy crowded with unforeseen sudden rainfall and drivers from all over the world (horrible/tourists) and traffic that definitely accentuates the Panigale's heat issue. But I still have fun except for the low side caused by another Ducati rider and the broken mirror I got at the dealer when a guy backed his Gixxer into my bike. In a word CHALLENGING. But I get to do it 365 days a year and look at bikinis:D

Awesome!

Love the white!

Can you post up some larger pics of it please? Give us a photoshoot whooohoooo!

RM4TWO I live on the Big Island and I had to ship the bike to the dealer on a custom pallet by Young Brothers ocean freight. I'm the only 1199 on this island but there are a handful of duc riders here. If you want to ride and live in Hawaii this is the only island to be on period. We have alot of wide open roads you can really run flat out on. I have to replace the knee sliders on my suit on a regular basis so its pretty good. I also have a Harley electra glide ultra which is what is best suited for the other islands due traffic and/or lack of good roads.

Congrats on the pani! But the R8 owns! My face car and best color choice, gonna be painting the 1199 next winter to black. Although the 14s will prob come in a black model might be a good time to trade in lol.

More pix of the 8 please.
