Fitting Givi Tanklock Bag

So after some creative work with a Dremel, I've finally got one of these fitted:

GIVI 3D601 TANKLOCK - Soft Luggages

I preferred the look of the Givi to the SW-Motech equivalent, but I had to buy the SW-Motech Quicklock evo to get the adapter plate to attach the Givi adapter plate. I believe the Givi plate is for the street flighter.

Mounting for tankbags, for original QUICK-LOCK tankbag.

Looks like this, fitted:

Without some trimming, the fuel cap wont open.

I'll need to get some black coloring for the areas removed by the dremel.

Unless you are constanly using the bag, I think that mounting bracket detracts from the Pani's looks, otherwise at least wont damage the paint.

Tis true, however, if it means I take the Pani over the FJR, it's a worth while addition.

Hello, I'm from Slovenia so soory for may bad English. I'm owner of 1199s and I like to have Givi tankbag. Givi does not have tanklock system for panigale. I have see on this link

that you have use tanklock system from SW-Motech? Can you send me link where I can buy it? Does Givi tankbag fit on SW system?

I had to buy the QUICK-LOCK Tankring Adapter Kit (sw-motech.com) for the 1199/899/Streetfighter to get the adapter plate for the top of the petrol cap.

This allowed me to screw in the givi adapter ring (which had to be modified to fit) to the petrol cap surround.

Make sense?

As much as I like the bag, it sits a bit too close to your chest. I've since removed it from the bike.
