Fitting top air tube to race fairings

Trying to fit a set of CRC race fairings to 1199 base. Not sure how the top air tube is meant to fit in. Read another post they need to be trimmed first because it was designed to fit the S model.
Anyone have any pics of this fitted or how they modified it?
 
Got it sorted out. Once I took the air tubes off the base of the front light and fitted this back in, I just need to trim the back of the top air tube cover and it looks like it will fit ok now.

Top air intake cover. Rear part needs to be trimmed to fit in correctly.
