Is there an option to just replace the foot pegs to non folding and with more grip texture?

Yep, I agree with Stw. If you don't want to spend he money on rearsets then the Rizoma B Pro are nice

Thanks for info all. I will replace the whole set.

Thoughts on Rizoma quality? Is it worth the price?

I have the Rizoma RRC PER214B rearsets on my 899 and they are definitely worth it. The needle point bearings make the lever action incredibly smooth.

It goes without saying that they look great on the bike.

I have seen them for around $550.

I have the DP rearsets but I only bought them cause I got a smoking deal. I wouldn't buy them at full price. I think if I had to purchase a new set I would go with Sato or Rizoma. I've seen both up close and they both look good.

You don't want to put fixed pegs on the stock brackets, they're cast aluminum and are too weak to take the stress if the bike goes down. You'd risk damaging the swingarm. You can definitely put grippy pegs on, that's a very common upgrade. We have several listed here:

Jarel, do you know if the DP billet footpegs you have listed fit the SL rearsets? I am trying to keep my SL as stock as possible, but the pegs have got to go...
