Frame Slider Location?

Has anyone released frame sliders for the beast yet?

I feel weird for calling them frame sliders for the obvious reason.

Mounting sliders directly to the engine makes me a bit nervous. I've been doing some browsing, and I've yet to see anything mounted to the Panigale.

Has anyone seen anything on the market yet?

What'd you think about these pieces 2012Duc? Do you have any yet? Even if you don't, what's your thoughts on their crashworthyness (a word I just made up)?

I wonder in particular if those tank sliders will prevent the tank from folding up in the event of a crash. Or if the tail sliders will do anything either. I'm not a fan of what they do to the bike cosmetically.

R&G told me they have no plans to create frame sliders/crash bungs for the 1199. They said they'd investigated the possibility, but that it was impractical to make them.

I'm with you on those carbon stickers being ugly! Not a fan at all!!! Also have my doubts as to how effective they would be.

Personally think I'm going to go with front fork sliders, and wait to see what comes out. I considered the rear swing arm slider but it makes using a paddock stand impossible/difficult so no real point for me. I might go with the carbon swing arm cover from DP rather than sliders on the rear.

Agreed, I put my bike on the rear paddock stand a lot. I'm insane about cleaning the back wheel/chain. The DP swing arm covers looks good too. I don't think the 1199's swingarm in general looks as good as the work of art that was on the 1198, but hey, can't have everything I guess (also, I have yet to see an 1199 in person, so that's my opinion now, may change when I can see it).
