frame slider

Hello, just wondering if anyone here have these sliders on their Panigale,

2012 and on TRex Ducati 1199 Panigale Frame Slide

After I fell on my gixxer last night and realizing how the slider saved my whole bike, I have decided to add some sliders on the Panigale.

Don't think I've seen anyone on here with those. Protection looks good, but looks like it sticks too far out for my taste. A few people here have the Sato sliders. I just ordered them too.

how can you have a "frame slider" when the Pani is FRAMELESS!?

put another way: any significant crash with these "frame sliders" will result in much more harm than without them. think about the stress points and how these bolts will impact the engine cases they are connecting these sliders to.

Extensive research lead me to T-rex sliders and after installing them I can see how a crash would not affect the engine or stator case.

The use of mutiple mount points and shock bumpers will prevent engine damage...and if while installed you involved in a crash that resulted in engine damage you're bike's totalled anyway...TRUST ME ;-)

...dont fix em...get another one haha

I know you down under, but buy directly from T-rex on ebay...10 in stock right now ..this link is for complete kit, but you can also get just the side sliders if you wish.

Yes, we don't have frames, but the sliders would probably still help in a slow speed slide or if you dropped your bike, or if it was knocked over. Better to some protection than none.

I have been looking at these as well. I find the clutch cover stickes out way to far for my liking. It is probably a good thing but it bothers me. Plus I find it expensive for what it is.
