Frustrated with the UK weather?

Yup, I agree thats a nice vid :)

Today I have around 18C and dry, which meant I needed to refit my Dainese thermal liner, before riding to get my SW updates ;)

Thermal liner for 18C!! Thats our summer...

Seriously, I know!!

I remember riding down to that big BMW dealer in Alton one Sunday morning and arriving frozen stiff.

Swipe of the credit card later (GBP300:eek:) and I left sporting some toasty BMW technical under clothing :p

I'm going stir crazy - will it every stop raining? I flew into Gatwick on Sunday morning - on my way to Motorcycle Live - pictures of 1199R to follow - and as we came into land you could see standing water everywhere. It's due to turn icy cold over the weekend to add to the fun

Ditto, and to cap it all my bike is at a dealers 60 miles away. Not only can I not look at is but thanks to the weather forecast I am not sure I can even pick it up at the weekend. :(

I'm not that precious about mine, it will go out in the wet if there's not a gap in the weather soon; before the big freeze starts. Beside which I've not really had chance to put it though its paces since the remap and I need to see if the rumours are true about wet mode being a little less wet. Last (and only) time I used wet mode I forgot I'd turned it on and then couldn't keep up with everyone else when it started to dry out.

I am too old to be uncomfortable if I have a choice!

It is not so much precious but being not keen to ride at predicted temps of -1 to 3c max with potential ice and also being lazy and not keen on washing the bike every time it goes out in the rain!

I don't know what I am having the most difficulty adjusting to the current weather in London or Jet Lag. Watching the local UK TV show I think that London has the least flooding. Double luckly is that it is actually raining in the California bay area at the moment !!

Would love to travel around London on a Multistrada.

Definitely won't be riding when it's frozen. It's the cleaning that's involved everytime the roads are even slightly damp, I am riding as regular as poss to keep the battery topped up. Will get one of those Ducati chargers soon.

Nice pics CaliDuc, stunning bike - enjoy London!

Weathers looking ok tomorrow if not a little cold. Might take her out for a ittle blast.

She needs a good clean from my last ride out.

I only got 208 miles on my panigale before the roag grit came out, I wont take a brand new duke out in the salt out of principle, but its killing me not riding her. I ride all year round on an old blade and dont care about me getting wet etc, but I hate a dirty bike!

what weather :D

at the end of the day, i spent 40 min wiping the suit clean, i was covered in salt from booth to helmet :D

Panigaleman, I imagine that you have amazing views with riding on them amazing country lanes in Cornwall.

The solution to .... weather is to buy a proper supermoto on wets... My Husaberg 650SM is a weapon around London:)

i dont see anything wrong with the Pani in .... weather, i was passing cars all day, in the rain
