This build has taken me 3 years and I'm almost done......almost :D
There's some rounding involved, but the total weight reduction is right.
Most of the carbon is Fullsix, I tried a few other brands at first but once I discovered Fullsix I'd never consider anything else, best quality and most trouble free fitting.

Weight reduction:
"¢Wheels = 6kg
"¢Tail = 5kg
"¢Tank = 2kg
"¢Exhaust = 5.5kg
"¢Battery = 2kg
"¢Magnisium cover & slipper = 0.5kg
"¢All other carbon = 2kg

Total = 23kg

WOW! Beautiful 899! Sweet build Sash. What's left?

Thanks man!
I still need to fit the headlight holder/fairing stay and radiator cover, also thinking about a lightened flywheel but not sure about that yet, I'm mostly street with the occasional track day, so want to keep it street friendly.

Awesome bike buddy, you've done a great job! Very tasteful indeed. Did you notice any heat reduction thanks to the CF subframe/tail? Or did you not change the sub frame?

Very nice!!!!! Super cool build.
I love the motocorse exhaust.
You might regularly check those bearings in the ducabike rearsets, some had trouble with them.

No heat problems to the subframe from the exhaust pipe?

Congrats Sash!

That is just absolutely filthy in the best of ways.
Extremely tastefully done, Sash.

You mind if I ask how much you put into all those carbon parts?

Yep, changed the sub frame/tail, Fullsix Monocoque carbon. I don't have a problem with heat, the carbon most definitely helps, but the motocorse headers are a factor to. 75mm OD and 1mm wall thickness, that along with the extra airflow without the shield, and titanium being less heat conductive the steel.....admittedly I don't do much city riding with this bike, mostly open roads with the occasional track day.

Thanks mate. Nope, no heat issues at all.....see previous reply ;)

Hi Redfire,
It was actually already mentioned. It is a motocorse :)

EDIT: Didn't see new comments (including reply from Sash) before posting. Silly me... LOL
