Just a couple of quick questions regarding the Fullsix Carbon Fibre Belly Pan for anyone whom is familiar with it:

0. Ayone done an installation on a road bike?
1. Could it be fitted with street fairings if one really wanted?
2. Any critical parts you need to remove?
3. Is this item necessary for instalment?
4. Anyone know the weight of it?

Just curious if someone had any experience with it :)

For what bike?

It will be difficult to install because the street fairings have an upper and lower fairing on both the right and left side. The race version is a one piece unit that incorporates the upper and lower fairing into one. I believe you would need to drill holes into your lower fairings in order to mount the one you want. As a dealer I ordered this particular belly pan for myself as well as other guys who bought the vandemon undertail exhaust from me. It fills in the area where the under belly exhaust used to be. And I think you can use this also and it will mount very easy compared to the one you listed. FullSix Belly Pan Extension for Underseat Exhaust - OPPRACING Products Im sure you can get this from anyone who is a Full six dealer.

Thanks for the reply. I am a bit confued though, I thought the one I found would work with the standard akrapovich under-engine exhaust? I don't like the look of the exhaust that goes up under the tail of the bike. Which one fits the regular akrapovich exhaust?

I dont even know where a belly pan would fit on a 1299 except when covering the void where the underbelly exhaust has been removed and someone went to an undertail exhaust like I did and I ordered the full six belly pan extension like the one in this link. Unless that belly pan you posted pics of replaces the lower left and right side panels. But even then Im trying to figure out where the exhaust pipes fit. Maybe the part you listed is an oil catch belly pan that goes under the bike then the lower panels hide it. Those are usually required when doing some sort of organized racing in case the bike goes down on the track and it catches the oil. Or catches oil when riding so nothing spills on the track.

If you see closely on the picture in the link, it is clear that it forms around the exhaust pipes. Just look at where the oil drain plug is. Yes it is a oil catch pan, that is what I am looking for. Now I'm wondering if it will fit with the fan (goes around it), or not, see the attached picture.

I am not sure about the Full Six belly pan and how it fits. But I know the Ilmberger one works and fits the way you want it to fit. Two of my buddies have the ilmberger version. I think it may even be less expensive than full six and shipping is free from Ilmberger. Im a dealer for them in the US and shipping is free via fedex from Ilmberger to me as well as when they drop ship to my customers in the US. Im not sure how shipping is from them to you if you ordered something from them. Take a look at this link. Its the carbon gloss version but they have matte version too. Bellypan (Oil Catch Tank only Kit. Cooler) Carbon - Ducati 1199 Panigale Ilmberger Carbon It says for the 1199 but when you scroll down it shows that it fits the 1299 as well
