I am checking out my options of a replacement gas cap. I may be in the minority of this issue but I don't like how small they made the hole for the gas pump nozzle. The 9xx and 1x98 caps were much larger and easier to keep from splashing fuel all over. And you could see the fuel level easier. So do the replacement caps have larger receptacles or are they the same size? Or is it the size of the tank which obviously can't be changed. Thanks for the info...

SSR has some for 75 and 100. The pricier one is better for what you're looking for.

May be selling

I Have one of these Ducabike caps in gold still in the box if interested. Check retail and make an offer thru PM.

Lightech. They have a 1/4 turn, but this has more of a race look and it's flush with the tank.

i'm in that minority with you. i don't really need to fill up that often that i cannot be extra careful to prevent splashing fuel but i do agree the opening is too small and it's hard to judge the level which means i often don't come close to filling the tank. but it's a minor problem i guess i can live with.

So of the examples posted and listed, do they have larger openings?

The lightech is as large as possible for the hole int he tank if that helps? I'll grab a photo of it with the cap off.

Thanks. That's the info I was looking for. Lightech or SSR might be my direction. The ducabike looks like a designer replacement for the stock version. Very nice looking, but not a larger hole. (from the photos)

Transnone13- should I be worried about rain with the Lightech? (in comparison to the stock cap)

There is an O ring you should be straight. There is also a wrench sold separately to get it very tight.

I don't see enough Santa hats, carry on.
