I installed the HM Stand Alone Blipper pro. Now comes the part of setting up all the proper ratios, calibrations and other things on the HM software I downloaded. One of the things I need to do is input the gearbox gear ratios into this wizard. "This is for easy calculation of inhibiting RPM to prevent engine over rev on a downshift. Simply input the maximum desired RPM and then the gear ratio's out of the bike manual. "
I looked up the gearbox ratios online. But what I found wasnt in decimals. It was in fractions. 1st= 37/15 2nd=30/16 3rd=27/18 4th=25/20 5th=24/22 and 6th=23/24. In order for me to get the correct gear ratios to input into this program would I need to divide? For example 1st=37/15 and if I divided then 2.466 comes up. 2nd=30/16 which comes to 1.875. 3rd=27/18 which comes to 1.5. 4th=25/20 which comes to 1.25. 5th=24/22 which comes to 1.090 and 6th=23/24 which comes to .958. Did I do the correct calculations or am I way off?
