I want to change to the chain and sprockets to the AFAM quick change lightweight setup and go down one in the front but I am concerned about cha go g the speedo and odometer. On my other bikes(R1's) I used a speedo healer to correct the error percentage but there is nothing that I know of to correct this on the 1199. Does anyone have any info for a solution?

I wouldn't worry about it.

Since the Ducati uses a speed sensor at the wheel, it will work correctly even with the new gearing.

Most Japanese bikes use a speed sensor at the drive sprocket, that is why those bikes need a speedo healer.

Speed sensors for Ducati's are always on the rear wheel's hub....speedometer will not be affected at all no matter what you do to the gearing...Jap bikes speedometer sensor is at the Drive sprocket...chrisplm is correct.

Go have fun...change your sprocket to a -1 which will be a size 14, stock size is 15, and you will think you have gained 10hp...amazing acceleration and torque!
Fuel consumption, rear tire wear and a bit of top-end will be compromised.
