Ambient temp is around 34-35 C. Rode in heavy stop and go traffic. 1st to 2nd gear mostly.

It goes away when on the move. Highway driving, it's usually at 3 bars.

Im on a tropical hot climate country.

Should I be worried? Anyways, would the engine shutoff if it overheats?

It usually stays at 4 bars on traffic with the HIGH warning popping off very briefly.

How long are you in that stop start traffic? As a comparison, I live in a "dry continental" climate, but in summer it can regularly get to high 30C (and sometimes 40C). I'm only in stop start traffic for 10 mins or so, but have never seen it go above 3 bars in these conditions. I could picture it going higher if I was doing 20 - 30 mins in it. Part of my commute is 20 mins of highway, and it's usually at 2 bars in the 30C+.

The only time I've seen it go to 4 bars was on the last session of a track day in 30C+.

Others may know better than me as to the ideal coolants for these bikes, but I remember putting engine ice in my zx10r, and noticing it ran a few degrees cooler (digital temperature read out).

Thanks for sharing nadsy.

30 mins or so stop and go traffic. Ambient temp usually around 32-35 C.

My route involves highway “spirited driving”, then start and go traffic when i get to the busy streets.
