Popping the hose off the T piece is easy for me
Especially when the bike's hot!
And pissing fuel everywhere then getting the pipe stuck and pissing more fuel… still

If it helps the tank is just resting on its mounts..
Or are you not familiar with a 22 tank and fairing mounts?

Obviously, you don't have the fuel pump running when you disengage the pipe.
I didn't think I needed to explain that, but will remember in future for you.
Fuel only comes out, on this bike, when the pump is running. No need for dry break line

Has your bike got a faulty fuel pump, Andy?
Also, not sure where your fuel pipe gets stuck, maybe something is incorrectly routed, on your bike?

When you pull the fuel pipe away from that very fragile plastic T piece, fuel does come out of the plastic t piece. When you tip the tank through the variety of angles to get it off fuel passes out of the open end of the pipe from the tank...both spilling down all over your engine.
This isn't just for a dry break....its about convenience of removal, ease of removal, and eliminates the potential of breaking the plastic T piece.
Perhaps its above your level of engineering knowledge?... I did try to get a packet of flat washers in there, perhaps you could advise?

Never had those issues with my bikes tbf. If my pump is off, no fuel comes out

the silver tab I think you are referring to is the fairing side mount..the 22 bike on has an extra screw there....the tank is sitting on the rubber mounts the black bits....below the fairing mountings...
