mark419ny, just remember that BMW stands for Bayrischer Mist Wagen. Google it .........and that's from a German :D :p

honestly guys do you really think i care what bmw sales are or what their recall was. Read between the lines jeez you act like ducati cares about you guys. they don't so stop being so loyal and take a second and see the real meaning. If sales of bmw cycles are up every other brand will follow. this will make things easier for every enthusiast to find parts buy bikes get better mods, replacement parts etc.

if it were yamaha, honda, or ducati i would have posted it too.

Ease up everyone.

FYI, strong sales for BMW will also translate to strong sales for other euro brands if past history is any indicator. So a good thing for MC in general.

I really don't get all the animosity against BMW, they have their flaws as do all manufactured items but they make a damn nice bike in the S1krr and I love to have an HP 4 if I could afford it. Mark's got the best of both worlds in that he'll have a good sturdy german housefrau as well as an exotic high maintence passionate Italian mistress! :) What more could anyone want.

exactly what i said 2 post ups read between the lines

I rode my buddy's s1krr today all day in the mountains and must admit it's a great bike. He borrowed it to me as his girl is in town and he has other duties than riding.

Great handling, nice linear power, good sound with the full akra. Oh and heated grips. A lotta fun but the valves in my heart are desmodromic. But the bimmer every now and then is nice...

He works for BMW so he is very passionate and always eagerly awaiting my responses :D
And recalls, umm yea, they're an industry standard. Better have it recalled then blowing up...

Wait. So, the logic is: if BMW sales are up, then motorcycle sales are up. Therefore, I can deduce that if it is a BMW, then it is a motorcycle!!!! Woohoo. Me's smart!!!!!!!

Well, Allan, typically on the euro bikes, good sales for one has meant good sales for the other euro manuf. The japanese have kind of languished of late and the euro companies have been doing better.
