Well, it was a sad past couple days as I lowsided my R yesterday and banged the left side all up so funds are gonna be tight to recoup from this recent loss; therefore I may not be getting these installed as soon as I'd hoped. But, I got home around 8pm tonight and found a coupla boxes at my door.

Thank you Jarel and the people at Ducati Omaha for having great customer service and shipping my orders quickly, and at offering very competitively priced products to us forum members.

Beautiful Akra. Wow. The welds on this exhaust are simply nothing short of amazing. Jarel also hooked me up with a TTX-GP setup for my weight (feather 135lbs) so I can wait to see how this bike feels post-installation.

Heres a few pics:

Well at least you didn't lowside with all those new goodies on your R. Did you post up what happened?

Not really much to say. I was coming around turn 10/Thunderbolt @NJMP in a hard lean and my idiotic death grip most likely caused my front end to get sketchy and the entire bike just fell out from under me and slide across the entire track into the grass as did I. This was my third track day ever. Thank god for leather suits. as almost the whole ... wore away on the leathers, I can't imagine if this were on the street and with jeans on.. :/

What really kills me is I had BOTH of my cameras set up on my bike, but forgot to turn them both on before the session began.

Sorry to hear about your get off, glad you are ok.
Love the looks of the new hardware ;)

Also, the scale pic shows only a single muffler weighing in around 4.75 pounds. I'm going to take complete weight of both full systems and of just the slips themselves and post them up as I'm sure that people would be interested in knowing.

Thanks for the report and glad you're OK. At least you have some upgrades when you get it back together. Your R sounds like it's in relatively great condition, considering it didn't flip and get banged up badly. Hopefully you were able to get the motor turned off quickly while it was on it's side. I'm sure your dealer also knows to loosen up the triple clamps to relieve any torque on the forks from the crash. I also hear that the steering stops can get broken off easily as well during typical drops.

I think for casual observers this also demonstrates the value of track fairings, as most can be had for around $700 delivered, which is much less than even one OEM replacement panel at MSRP.

Good luck with the rebuild and enjoy the new, improved version of her when she's back in action.

Glad your ok!

Geez, that exhaust is just sexy!

I hope the low side doesn't change your mindset about the track.

Sorry to hear about it, glad your okay. Good thing the cameras weren't on...the theory being if it doesn't appear on the internet within 2 weeks it never happened...lol.

I heard all about this man, bummer!
That is a nice group of photos on gear for sure!

Let me know if you want any assistance fixing the bike back up again. You'd never know anything ever happened to it (well- guess Id need to see damage first :)
