^^^ What kind of device are u using to place the camera in the triples?

There was enough of a flat spot to use the adhesive on the mount. I used a plastic zip tie to ensure it would not come off. Works perfectly and gets a great shot of the dash while riding.

I don't have one, but isn't there a mount that fits right into the center hole of the steering stem? I was searching for an iphone mount and I saw something that was a universal mount for a camera, GPS, iphone, etc...
Has anyone tried this mount I'm describing?

Yes, they make mounts that go into your steering stem. I didn't plan to use that space for anything other than the camera so using the mounts that came with it made more sense.

Good point. Why spend money if the parts it comes with work.

I could be wrong but I'm not sure the steering stem mount will be that easy. The top hole is only a couple of mm thick, the main stem below is far larger and so there is nothing for the traditional stem mounts to expand against.

I think it is best on the helmet. You can see everything you are seeing and the whole bike.
not at 270 km/h :p
what SoonerNation did is probably best. i will change mine to this solution.
a extra rubberstrap will damp vibrations
ecellent idea SoonerNation!

Yes, I use this mount (for my radar detector) made by Adaptiv Technologies...it works great. AdaptivMountâ„¢ Sportbike Mount Type D (D-01-16) [D-01-16] - $95.00 : Adaptiv Technologies - TPX Motorcycle Radar and Laser Detection System

This one works at 270 km/h.

I used to have mine on the nose of my 'blade. I was never comfortable with showing the speedo. Sort of spells out that one is perhaps being a little naughty ;)

In the UK there have been several prosecutions off the back of a video confiriming the speed, although it they wanted to be really nasty I guess they could also use lamp post distance timings, white line gaps etc.

I never had any problems with vibrations on the front either.
