I pre-ordered the black, still not here :( Did you or the camera do the fades? How/where did you mount it?

i edited the video in adobe premier cs4. the camera is mounted on the helmet. i got the chest mount n the suction cup mount yesterday, so next weekend im gonna do a better job. hopefully.. :D

The ultimate would be to have 2, one always on the dash, the other on your helmet. Then you could edit the 2 views simulataneously.

been looking to get one of these camera's but i don't think they are available yet in canada, and when i went to the website it just says to "pre-order". but looks nice guys. :D

looking to get a couple of blacks sometime between black friday and christmas...for next riding season. all of a sudden i like these and your cool video shows how good they are.

My vid was shot with the first generation GoPro HD....looks like nobody can tell the difference!

I guess not, esp after YouTube compresses the .... out of the quality lol

This is just what I needed while i'm healing from a big surgery and can't ride until next spring.

For the first time, i'm impressed with the sound quality. WIth a lot of convincing, it feels like you're there :D

thanks man.

Has anyone checked out the JVC one? I thought about it because the profile makes more sense, my main gripe with GoPro.

Nice video, it got me turning my head as if I was riding :D

I'm curious as to what the microphone picks up. Do you have the stock exhaust?

Yup. Stock exhaust. The video was shot using the open camera back, which is recommended under 100 mph.

Here is my first Gopro/motorcyle mounted video. I shot this at 1440 48fp, but dumbed it down to 1080 for youtube. I used the stand/solid back, and zero wind, and you can hear the engine fine. I need to work on the mounting position, as the windshield is right in the middle :)

If you guys are trying to maintain video and sound quality, try uploading your vids to Vimeo. Besides hosting the vid yourself, it's probably the next best thing.

Linked video is not shot with a GoPro, but after watching it, you can understand why it was NOT uploaded to YouTube.

Stock shield. Another disadvantage of the dark tinted, have to have the camera above, and you lose part of the picture.
