Just purchased a Hero Black, initially using default 1080p 30fps ultra wide, was planning on trying out 1080p 60fps medium wide view, have tried helmet & triple clamp mount. Any advice from experienced users greatly appreciated, helmet was good except I had bad angle & I could feel the wind drag

I use the adaptive mount. Can either use the short attachment to view through the windscreen or with the extra long attachment can raise it to just above the windscreen. I prefer the wide angle.

Recording settings depends on what you want to show. Personally, I don't like any frame rate less than 60 fps as it doesn't capture the fast action well. I also prefer the less than ultra-wide angles as it makes objects, other bikes, etc. look so far away you can't get scale.

Post up some videos when you get a chance.

Thanks JeffD, the U/wide issue is what I had thought was the problem, I did a couple of videos on the default settings and although the immediate area in front is great the viewer cannot see why I backed off the throttle as the view doesn't show corners or cars etc as the riders view, think I'll try 1080p 60fps narrow view next

Here is what I mean, shot @ default 1080p 30fps u/wide
