Looks great in the pics. What are your impressions? Weight, quality, overall design, how does the system seem relative to other Termis you may have owned?

Quality seems on par with what to expect for a flagship superbike :D It does have some weight to it, but with no stock system to compare it to it's hard to tell. Everything but the mufflers will be on their way to Jet-Hot to get ceramic coated black. Came with the mounting hardware, "up map" in a separate little box, and carbon heat shield.

where did you get it?

Picked it up from my dealership.

Do you have an install manual coming with it? I would be curious to read it to see if I will be able to do it myself or not.

I wonder if the stock exhaust is going to be a b!tch to get off like the 1x98 systems...

I almost remember you flaming me when I told you your bike would never be here in March. I guess that might have been another Bwaide LOL :p Just kidding man all in fun. I really think we only have a month now to wait Im getting so excited.

P.S. Your exhaust looks Awesome

It is a bitch to remove and install. The termi system is stainless and offers little weight saving over the stock system, just 2kg, It's an awkward exhaust to build as termi found out. They start with a massive 70mm tube size which ends up looping in and out of the silencer at just 40mm tube size. This can not and does not give good power results, it is very awkward to build a system that gets rid of this problem due to space and db level restrictions but we are on it to try and come up with a better solution.
It won't come cheap.
You can fit the systems yourself, some bolts are awkward to get to and the heat shield is a pain along with lambda sensor removal. Problem is you need to slacken off the shield to get the sensor out and so on.

If possible, can you make your headers / manifold compatible with the Termi pipes? I'd like to put Termi's on for warranty + resale but if your exhaust is better ill do a bit of mix n match!

Tests so far are showing the stock headers to perform as well as the Termi headers, the gains are coming from the better flow in the cans.

Good news, I ordered just the cans... Now I just need the bike >.<. I honestly want to see the Akra Evolution Ti offering.

I think I'm going to stick with the stock cans on my "S" and just try to see if we can remove the butterfly valve jobbie.
Seems the best compromise to me.

Other way around! I want the 70mm headers I paid for to match the AR better flowing cans!

is there truth in that less heat is radiated from the exhaust in the full system due to the increased flow and removal of Cat?
