I should say 'Sunny Surrey'. Dug the Multistrada out of winter hibernation to ride to work today as spring seems to have arrived rather early in England. Just put my deposit down on 1199 Panigale S. and counting down the days. :)

Welcome to the site, glad to have you!

Do you plan on keeping the Multistrada once your 1199 arrives? What other bikes have you owned?

Actually my son-in-law and I have a cunning plan ;) . He has a Diavel and I have a Multistrada Sports S - both of which we plan to keep. The 1199 will be high days, holidays and track days - that's the idea - although we're still working on breaking it to the ladies. . .

My last bike was a KTM 990 SM (not the SMT!) and before that Triumph Speed Triple. I like bikes with attitude - even though I should be old enough to know better.

Hi Topolino, Snells in Alton Hants. We bought our Ducs there earlier this year and they have been great. Found out yesterday that they were voted UK Dealer of the year.

Welcome. I went to boarding school in Dover and the claim was that on a clear day one could see France. Never did in four years :)

OK. Not tried them. Bought my last 7 Dukes from Pro Twins. Knew them when they used to be Fast By Feracci down near Bolney in Sussex. Used to lust after the 916SPS's they had there. Heaven knows how I will be able to afford a Panigale S ABS, which is my preferred choice. All depends on whether I can get a realistic price for the 1098S which I poured money into over the last four years. Probably could have bought an R with what I spent on it! Post up some pics when your new beast arrives.

Sounds like you will have to find someone to go halves on with like I did! Good luck with the 1098S sale - I've got a feeling there are going to be a lot of beautiful Ducs on the market next year. . .
