We have a place here in town called the Galleria, I was sitting there waiting for the light and bam. I see sky and then landed on something hard (hood) then the ground. Felt like one of those cartoon guys who get hit by that acme anvil out of the sky. By the time I opened my eyes I was laying on the ground looking at my bike 5 foot from me, I could hear each of my breath, being dazed plus from me hearing my heartbeat while trying to figure out wtf just happend. Then I hear people talking and seeing feet and ankles walking around my visor, alot of "omg" "she ran him over" and my favorite "He's not moving, I think he's dead" !!

I just layed there in total shock cause I couldn't believe what just happened and too me at that!!!

Yeah I know that area. It's a zoo. Were you on Westheimer? post oak? Bright side is you're ok.

Crap! New member, first post and then bam!

Bright side is that you're relatively OK and with a good attorney you'll be able to replace your bike with an SL

Hi Houston hb
I am from Houston too and have been in the Galleria area many times. Have seen many crazy drivers there who do not look out for bikes or even other cars.
Sorry to hear about ur fall but good to know u r safe...
Good luck and see you around !!

yeah I havent gotten a lawyer, yet but I am looking into it. I a real be person on karma so you know the saying. My girl is saying "see its a sign" cause she doesnt want me to ride. Kinda mad cause I was going to instal my Termignoni kit this weekend and was going take it to the dyno to pull some number out of it. Ive been looking at the MV Agusta's F4RR but its not doing it for me like the Duc was. Ill keep you guys in the loop

Damn bro, glad your ok but I bet she was on the phone texting or chatting. I was rear ended on my 1098 a couple of yr's ago by a female driver who was in a rush to get her kid to school. Get better bro and hopefully she had insurance to take care of your baby. Ooh yeah, they have Thursday night bike nights there. I hope to be down there by the end of the year.

Jesus that was fast....

Don't let some idiot not paying attention keep you from riding. And please lawyer up.

Welcome, I rmbr your screen name from H-I.

Sounds like your Pani is totaled. Doesn't take very much to total it out. Also since you mentioned the MV F4, go test fit first. I checked it out and the seat was wayyy too wide for me.

If you decide to contact a lawyer, quote or PM me. I know someone who you can talk to that will take care of your best interests and not treat you like just another client.

Seriously, forget "The Hammer" and let me put you in contact with someone.

Holy ....! Sorry to hear that Houston and hope your ok and you have a quick recovery. I can't even imagine what that was like. And the poor beautiful bike....
