Hi guys,

my name is Chris, I'm 24 years old an living in Switzerland. My actual ride is a Triumph Daytona 675 '09 I've made more than 30000 miles with this beautiful peace of European-engineering-art. After my visit on EICMA I decided to replace it. One sleepless night after I can't hold myself and I ordered a 1199s.

The pictures, informations and discussions posted here are the only way to stop going crazy while waiting for my "bella macchina".

"Heimwehschweizer" here. Was born and raised near Bern.

Waiting for the 1199 like everyone else. We're supposed to get them late march. What did you guys get for a delivery date?
 
so my dealer told me, that I can expect my one at the end of april, but this is just rumor. I'm living in Bern :) still the most beautiful city in switzerland.

My father is a "Heimwehschweizer" also :rolleyes: He lives since 30 years in Vancouver BC :eek: but he always talks about wonderful Switzerland :D
 
Was there last in 07. Had the wife and kids with me in a rental car. The roads are so amazing it made me whince.

Next time I'll be on a bike!
 
Riding here is truly amazing... just need 10min of riding to reach the first mountain roads. If you plan a Europe trip rent a bike an go for a ride in swiss alps :), I'll play motorcycle tourguide for you guy's :).
