btw what size are the nuts and should blue loctite be used on assembly? any torque values?

They're small, I think 5mm but don't quote me on that. Torque would be very light, probably not more than 10-15Nm or so, but don't quote me on that either! I would use blue loctite on them for sure. They'll come with instructions for install, I just don't have any yet to look at the instructions and the PDF link on R&G's web site is not working at the moment.
 
If anyone's thinking about the R&G frame slider kit, here's a pretty strong testament to their effectiveness:

2 beautiful Ducatis had unfortuantely mishaps at our track days this past weekend, both had R&G frame slider kits on them, and both have very minor damage thanks to the sliders!

I'm sad,

I just installed the R&G
Tail tidy 180$
Tank slider 85$
Tail slider $91
And left side cover 88$

I think the buy in would save some hard earned $$
 
My steering stops are gone and would like something to limit travel. It looks like the R&G hit the fork tubes as stop. I worry about tube/cartridges damage (which are $2500+). What are thoughts on this risk?
