Don't worry I trashed the Multistrada not the pannigale
I overcooked a right hander on the Passo Cereda Mia culpa, io stupida
The Multistrada was dead at the scene I hit a car an on coming car
Happened 3/9 spent 8 days in Agordo ospedale, my Italian is brilliant now
4 fractures of the pelvis and fractured sternum. Defied the doctors and walked on day 15 albeit with a frame. Only allowed to weight on left leg at present time. Anyhow was airlifted by private jet bk to uk a week last Tuesday. I'm now home and yesterday ordered me a new 1260 Multistrada ( thus will be my 6 th mukti). But, I have decided to part ex the Panigale as I think it will be too harsh on my poor undercarriage which took the impact

Will be very sad to let such beauty slip away.... if I was rich I would keep him and hope I could one day ride him....
Stay safe folks

Terrible way to end a trip but good luck your still here and have retained your sense of humour, hope you heal well and have a full recovery.

We just got back from that area and did the di Rolle which is just up the road from di Cereda, amazing part of the world as you know. Sorry to hear about the multi we were on a gs but did have a Ducati Performance tail bag to try and fly the flag in some way :)

While you heal you must give us a full report of the pre off trip.

Wow that's terrible. Glad you showed that car who's the boss and are recovering. I wish you well and a healthy recovery.

Double wow. I was staying at Duca Di Dolle Societa 'Agricola in Rolle just south of you when this happened...

Very very sorry to hear about your unfortunate event and long hospital stay. How was the medical care you received in Agordo?

I am now based in the U.S. but am originally from Riva del Garda in nearby Trentino, where I still spend a few weeks every year and where I keep my 2012 Multistrada S at the ready. I actually was vacationing there this Sept. 3.

Next time you come to tour the Dolomites, I hope to overlap with you and meet and ride with you.

Wish you a full and speedy recovery.

Good to see Ducati on the tail of the Gs
We had just come off the Rolle and stopped for lunch in Agordo. Then I had my little red mist moment... heard and saw several Panigale's today at Ducati Aylesbury... not looking forward to seeing him go
Can't remember how to post pics on here but will try tomorrow

Same . Bad luck with the off but seems you have a great attitude . Love riding in the Dolomites going back next year for another go .
