One of the best things about living on this side of the world is that we get to celebrate events early. This year we extended the party even further to include a pre-celebration on the 4th eve by way of a session at Le Bon Ton (an American pub here in Melbourne). I'm not sure exactly why we celebrate it over here - maybe because we know we should've had a crack at kicking the brits out like you blokes did. Anyway, a great evening of beef brisket, pulled pork, fried chicken, some hot sauce, mac and cheese, collard greens, a few SN Torpedo IPAs and one too many Sazeracs.
