Harsh shifts with Tuneboy quick shifter

I've got a question for anyone else that's running the Tuneboy quick shifter. I've been running it for a while now and have noticed that it works good when I'm shifting at full throttle but is quite harsh and abrupt when doing it at partial throttle.

Last weekend I noticed that when I was trying to use it to short shift in a turn that it hit hard enough to lurch and make the rear slide a bit.

I've tried adjusting the kill time without much luck. I've tried all the way to the right and been working my way to the left on the adjustment slider and I'm still not finding a smooth spot for it.

Has anyone else run into this kind of issue? If so what did you do to resolve it?

I got TB this spring with V6 beta and got it mapped, and that part worked well. But with V6 I had issues with the auto/blipper not working at all and the upshifts being rather harsh and upsetting the bike during the shift. I was unable to solve it in V6, so tried to downgrade to v4, and in V4 everything worked perfectly on the first attempt both the autoblip and the upshifts, so currently my upshifts are smoother than the standard shifter at both low and high rpms, and the autoblipper is fun :).
I am going to try an play with V6 again when I have time, but for the moment I am very happy with V4. Might be a different issue than yours, but you didn't state which version you are currently using.

Im using v5 as v6 has bugs.
I normally dont use QS below say 4500-5000 as its a lucky dip weather it is a smooth shift or harsh.
I havnt had to adjust to much for up shift, but down shift took some time to get right

I'm using V6. The downshifts are working well.

I did notice on a really bumpy section of the track I was on the shifter triggered once by itself. I raised the downshift pressure and the problem stopped.

Traded emails with tuneboy folks last night. There's a new version of the 6.x maps out on their site that is supposed to resolve the issue. I reflashed last night and I'm going to try and go for a ride in the next few days to see if the problem is resolved.
