Guys,
Has anyone discovered a simple way to remove the little Gas Tank label? I tried a spray that is suppose to loosen the sticker but unfortunately it comes off in tiny pieces. Very tedious & slow way of doing it. Any ideas?

I used a plastic blade and a spray bottle with soapy water...it came right off.

I did it on a hot day and used my fingertip to lift a corner and it peeled right off. So, I would suggest a blow dryer or something to heat it up.

Guess this is US only ?
Don't have that sticker on my tank, thank god !!
I already irritating on the chain-tension sticker :D

there was another thread on this earlier with lots of good suggestions. basically it involves some heat (I left mine out in the hot sun for a couple of hours) and some plastic like a credit card or if you have long nails. the sticker starts out in pieces but if you keep at it, the pieces get larger and eventually you get to do some serious peeling and it comes right off, i think it took me about 15 minutes.

Pulled mine up and most of the adhesive came with it. Then I used Goo Gone for any residual.

Leave it out in the sun for an hour or so. Mine came off in one piece with no glue left on the tank- much easier thn hitting it with a hair dryer.

Dam another thing we miss out on in Australia. We don't get that lovely sticker on our bikes. Oh well.:(

Mine started to come off in tiny pieces then I showed it my middle finger and cussed at a few minutes and bam just lke that, it still came off in tiny pieces!!!

Mine felt like it was melted into the tank. Took a plastic putty knife and a whole can of elbow grease to get off... And about an hour of my time.

Sunshine and my Ducati roadside assistance card were all it took. (Credit cards don't scratch paint.)

for removing tank sticker you may use hair dryer, water, petrol or thinner in order to remove it easily.. On the other hand if you take help of spray to remove it then it will create stain on painted surface.....
