I just picked up my first ducati a few weeks ago. It’s a 2015 and only had 4500 miles on it. Bike is in excellent shape. Been riding a few times and noticed at night when switching to high beam you really can’t see much. Almost worse than just low beams. I absolutely hate it when they make it so the low beams turn off when the highs are switched on. So while I had the whole bike apart to fix a leaking fork seal I figured out how to fix the headlight so low beams will stay on while in high beam mode. Here is a video to my channel if any of y’all want to see how to do it. Really easy conversion except for the whole taking the front clip off to get to it.

right above your headlight assembly behind the front fairing is your headlight relays. High beam relay has a yellow/gray wire for switch power and Low beam has a yellow/white wire for switch power. Take a diode and connect the Y/G to Y/W. make sure the power can only go in that direction from high beam to low beam. That way when low beams are on the high doesn't come on but the low stays on when high beams on. That is it in a nutshell.

Seems easy enough, nice video! I have been looking for a way to accomplish this and you seemed to have found the simplest way to do it!

Thanks. Yeah it ended up being an easy and cheap hack. That’s why I had to get a video up to show everyone.
