Went to southbay motorsports here in San Diego, they had this 13 white, we all now what it looks like, I know many threads have discussed this to death, but I noticed there are three layers to the header cover, interested to see the effect it will have on the heat.

I dont think it looks all that bad. Engine covers are fine, even though I dont really think they are necessary, the header cover is not much to my liking, but its not a big deal. Personally i'm still on the fence about putting it on, I appreciate the option though.

Thanks for posting these pics, it's good to see this application installed on regular bike.
Don't think I'll be taking the bike in for this upgrade though.

thanks for the pics. still on the wire as to get it or not but as it gets closer to summer and temps rise, I'm sure it'll start to look really good soon

im riding in summer in australia atm it gets hot but i dont think ill be geting this as its bareable. just dont get stuck in traffic lol

Thats just it, if I get stuck in traffic, the heat will only make me break the law by riding in between cars or on the shoulder! :p

so the 2013 is now 440 lbs? XD
when i trade mine in for a 13, those are the first to go!!!

this shield is stupid
why didnt ducati just make a plastic cover to cover the steal one that we have atm and put a layer of thermal barrier in between like they did here

just dont extend the shield to its near the pegs

lame... im sorry but this looks like a mess

Makes sense for multiple layers, using air has the insulator - similar to multi-pane glass in a window. And maybe some of the ducting even routes air between the layers. I am sure it owrks, or Ducati would not have installed it. They could always change it later when they have more time - the 2014 could be completely different.

leathers, and keep the Pani at speed.....that's the fix. ;)

Yeah right... Leather when its a 105f+???? I don't think so... and just like ...... traffic happens too... so please be realistic here....

hey its not our fault you live in Texas. :D

It does get pretty hot in South. I am in Louisiana now and its unbearable during summer times.
