Hey fellow Duc owners. My name is Brett and I am currently splitting time between Aspen, Co. and NSB, Fl. I have owned hundreds of bikes over my 51 years of existence including every type of dirt bike and and dual sport. I also love sport bikes and cruisers.

I had never owned a Duc until this past March when I started to spark interest in a 1299 Panigale. In my search for a 1299 I came across a 1199 Panigale R that was local to me and in perfect condition with tons of extras. The prior owner loaded the bike with Rizoma goodies, custom painted wheels and a bunch of carbon fiber. Having never really spent any time on an R was excited to ride this bike. I was amazed at the amount of HP this bike produced!!! It rips! So now I have this beast and I am learning as much as I can about proper care a feeding of my R. I found this web forum in that search for info and I thank you for creating such a cool forum.

Welcome Brett and congratulations on a beast of a bike. Take a look at the swingarm pivot and check if the previous owner already had it adjusted to the -4 setting. This is the setting that seems to work the best and all 1299's and PaniR's are coming set this way now.

Savor the flavor.

Welcome Brett. I'm in Castle Rock.

We are lucky to have Boulder Motorsports in our backyard so to speak. They do excellent work and upgrades as they become wanted or needed.
