Hello from Central Cali

So after a few years I'm back to owning a Ducati. Had the chance to pick up a 2016 1199 R that was pretty clean. I rode a 996 a few years back then transitioned to the Honda RC51. I have been lurking around on the board here trying to learn as much as I can about the new bike and all of the electronics. Its a bit more advanced compared to the "vintage" RC.

Greetings. Is this going to be primarily a track bike, canyon carver or weekend cruiser? Curious since it is a big transition although w/in the sportbike family

The RC will go back to being a track only bike with the Ducati being a canyon toy. Fortunately Im located in the central part of Cali with out too much traffic. I feel bad for the LA guys and the Bay Area guys having to deal with that ..... So I am probably 45 minutes away from excellent roads to ride on.
